Where Worlds Meet

Where Worlds Meet

Welcome to my universe between light, shadow, and mystery.

My name is Mikaela Georgio, and I bid you welcome.

I am a Belgian author, passionate about the mystical, inner lives, places that hold memory, and those invisible bonds that unite us beyond time.

Writing entered my life as a refuge, a breath, a rebirth. I began to write in order to rebuild myself… then my stories began to live, to breathe, to whisper. Today, I share them with you.

Aetheris — The Breath of Destiny, volume one of my mystical trilogy, explores eternal love, twin souls, faith, the Cathars, and the light that survives across centuries.

My Urban Legend series recovers the memory of abandoned places: their echoes, their dramas, their forgotten beauty. Two different universes, yet born of the same breath: that which binds the visible to the invisible.

If you love stories where shadow meets light, where emotions resonate long after the final page… then you are home here.

Thank you for being here.

Thank you for bringing my worlds to life alongside me.

Urban Legend is an adventure that plunges into the heart of the mysteries of urban exploration. The story begins with the legend of the Castle of La Roche, where the tragedy of love and betrayal between Berthe de La Roche and Alix de Salm, alias Sir Alaric, unfolds through a medieval tournament.

Centuries later, a trio of friends passionate about urbex: Mia, Sofia, and Théo, decide to investigate the Castle of La Roche. Mia, guided by the desire to connect with history, leads the group through the haunted corridors of this place. Sofia, the sceptic, finds her rational view of the world called into question, whilst Théo, ever ready for adventure, discovers a newfound respect for forces that lie beyond human comprehension.

During their exploration, the trio encounters inexplicable phenomena that will test their friendship and their courage.

In the heart of Belgium lies the Fort of La Chartreuse, an ancient Carthusian monastery transformed into a military fortress in 1792. Within its crumbling walls, two souls have kept watch for centuries: Brother Adrien, a monk who swore to protect the sacred grounds when soldiers seized his sanctuary, and Sergeant Émile, a young soldier who fell defending the fort during the Great War, welcomed into eternal guardianship by Adrien's spirit.

When urban explorers Mia, Sofia, and Théo venture into the abandoned fortress, they awaken forces long dormant. Mia, gifted with psychic sensitivity, senses both benevolent and malevolent presences lurking in the shadows. After discovering a military medal bearing Émile's name, Théo becomes the unexpected bridge between the living and the dead.

Guided by Adrien's protective spirit and confronting hostile entities, the trio must descend into the fort's depths to perform a liberation ritual. Only by returning the medal to the ancient crypt can they free the trapped souls and restore peace to this haunted bastion of history.

In fifteenth-century Eastern Europe, a dark alliance was forged between Vlad the Impaler and the mysterious Batthyány family, an alliance sealed in blood and bound by forbidden rituals. For generations, their descendants carried an invisible mark, an inexplicable attraction to places of power and ancient knowledge.

Centuries later, in the heart of Belgium, the ruins of Tergnée Castle await in silence. When urban explorers Mia, Sofia, and Théo discover an article recounting the macabre discovery of chained coffins with stakes driven through the hearts of those within, they cannot resist the call of this cursed place.

But Tergnée Castle is no ordinary ruin. Its blackened walls harbour shadows that have not forgotten. Its corridors whisper names that should never be spoken. And in its depths, something ancient has been waiting, waiting for the one who carries the blood.

As Mia's visions grow ever more terrifying and a malevolent presence begins to target Sofia, the three friends realise they have awakened forces far beyond their understanding. With the help of a group of seasoned investigators, they must confront the darkest secrets of the Batthyány legacy before the shadows claim what they believe is rightfully theirs.

In the darkness of the Carpathians, blood calls to blood. And at Tergnée, the shadows never forget.

A tale of ancient evil, forbidden bloodlines, and the courage of those who dare to seek the truth.

Nestled in the heart of the snow-laden Ardennes, the Orléac Manor bears the scars of a cursed night. On Christmas Eve 1793, a sumptuous banquet transformed into a bloody massacre when starving villagers stormed the aristocratic residence. For over two centuries, the souls of the Orléac family and their guests have wandered through the abandoned corridors, imprisoned in their final moment of terror.

Mia, Sofia and Théo, three urban explorers passionate about haunted places, decide to spend Christmas in this legendary manor. Armed with their paranormal detection equipment and guided by Mia's disturbing visions, they venture into the dilapidated edifice where strange Christmas carols still echo.

What they discover surpasses anything they could have imagined: violent paranormal phenomena, harrowing visions of the massacre, but also the poignant tale of a family who simply wished to celebrate Christmas together. Confronted by the tormented spirits, the trio understands that their mission shall not be to flee, but to bring peace at last to these souls in anguish.

Between gothic horror and pure emotion, this fourth instalment of Urban Legends plunges us into a supernatural adventure where the light of Christmas proves mightier than the darkness of the past. A tale of redemption that reminds us that even the oldest wounds may be healed through compassion and forgiveness.

A Christmas tale unlike any you have ever read.

On Christmas night, 1242, whilst Montségur lies besieged by the crusaders, a child is born in the Cathar village. Her name is Aélys, and her coming into the world is accompanied by a wonder: the Four Breaths, fire, water, earth and air, manifest together for the first time in centuries.

The Elder, an old woman gifted with prophetic sight, recognises at once the exceptional nature of the child. But the Cercle du Vallum, a secret brotherhood of hunters, has also sensed this birth. To them, Aélys represents a threat that must be eliminated.

Commander Renaud leads his men to the assault. Amongst them is Aldric, a young hunter tormented by doubt. When he understands that he is being ordered to kill a newborn, he makes a choice that will change the course of History: he turns against his own and protects the child.

Wounded but victorious, Aldric speaks an oath before Aélys: he and his descendants shall protect her, and her lineage, for all time. The Elder then prophesies that one day, in centuries to come, a man of his blood shall stand beside a woman of Aélys's blood. Together, they shall fulfil their destiny.

Eight hundred years later, in Oxford, a librarian with sea-green eyes named Clara meets the gaze of a man with dark brown eyes named Michael.

The oath begins to be fulfilled.

Christmas 1236. At the foot of besieged Montségur, Commander Renaud de Montfort leads the Hunters of the Circle of Vallum, a secret organisation devoted to eliminating Breath-bearers — those cursed beings capable of manipulating the elements. For Renaud, this mission is a personal crusade: thirty-eight years earlier, his little sister Alienor perished, burnt alive by a fire-bearer who had lost control of her power. This tragedy transformed him into a merciless hunter, incapable of feeling the slightest compassion.

But on this night of the Nativity, everything changes. At the stroke of midnight, within the Cathar fortress, an extraordinary child is born bearing all Four Breaths united — an abomination in the eyes of the Circle, a threat capable of shattering the Wall that protects the world. Renaud orders the assault to eliminate the newborn. It is then that Aldric de Servian, his protégé, the man he considered a son, turns his blade against him to protect the child.

Wounded, betrayed, consumed by rage, Renaud pronounces a blood oath: to hunt Aldric and the creature until their death. This oath will traverse the centuries, passing from generation to generation, shaping the Circle of Vallum into a ruthless organisation. Eight hundred years later, Michael Thomas — descended from Renaud through his father and from Aldric through his mother — will face the same choice as his ancestor: hatred or love, destruction or redemption. And a young woman named Clara, bearer of the Four Breaths, will change everything.

A dark and intense prequel revealing the origins of the conflict at the heart of the Aetheris saga.
